Sales area does not exist in transaction BP (error CVIC_UI009)

Dear,

I am new to S/4HANA but learned that we can only use transaction BP to create Customers/Vendors.

Since BP originated from CRM, I have a simple question for this forum:

I am trying to create a customer with transaction BP (BP role FLCU01 - Customer), but when I want to create it for the Sales area I created in the Enterprise structure customizing (1000/10/10), SAP says that this Sales area does not exist (error CVIC_UI009).

Strange enough, I can only select Sales area 1000/10/00, which I did NOT create in the Enterprise structure customizing.

How can this be solved?
