I want implement groupware integration wherein MS exchange server is shared between multiple users. Below are my doubts:
1. IP of MS Exchange server:
In any of the notes it is not mentioned whether group integration is possible when MS exchange server is shared by multiple customers. In our case vendor is offering my customer exchange services out of there MS exchange server on which mailboxes of other customers exists. Hence
vendor is not agreeing to share IP of MS exchange server but can share ip of mail domain of our particular customer only. There are several mail
hosts on 1 server, hence using ip of ms exchange server is not possible.Can we go ahead with IP of mail domain/subdomain inside exchange server.
2. Admin User on MS exchange server:
As MS Exchange server is shared by other customer; vendor is ready to give us AD level administrative user. Instead they are offering user similar to other mail users out of customers mail domain but with admin privileges. Can we use this user in groupware connector?
Please help me out here....
