We are facing an issue with respect to replication of Industry Codes from ECC to CRM.
We have defined a set of industry codes in ECC which are mapped to the standard key SAPS and these get replicated to CRM. Apart from these, we have certain custom codes which are local to CRM and not mapped to SAPS. These don't get replicated to ECC and the business is fine with this.
Now in ECC if any user changes value of the industry code for any customer, this data replicates to CRM. But along with this update the system deletes the custom industry codes which were mapped to the BP in CRM.
Has anyone come across this type of scenario anytime? Is there any defined way to handle this. If yes, please provide some pointers to this.
