One of my customers has the following SAP landscape:
- ECC 5.0 (on premise) -> will be upgraded to ECC 6.0 in the next couple of months and should be productive as per 1-1-2015
- SAP CRM 7.0 (EHP 3) as a CBQS and will be on premise at going live on 1-7-2014 (so at first CRM 7.0 will run stand alone)
One of the dicussions is about how to deal with the OrgModel --> automatic replication or a manually setup.
Besides the fact that i.m.o. there are multiple options in this case, I would like to know if anyone has setup the HR-integration (so automatic replication of OrgUnits (and employees) between ECC 5.0 and CRM 7.0?
Are there any technical dependencies or what other issues do we might encounter if we prefer this option? And are there other points of attention that we should take into account bearing in mind that ECC 5.0 will be upgraded to ECC 6.0.
