Hello Experts,
I am a fresher in SAP CRM. I am supposed to make a document for replication of Installed Base, Functional Location & Equipment from SAP ERP to SAP CRM. From the information that i have collected and my colleague's help i have created the steps to do it. Following are the steps that i feel will serve my purpose. Kindly check and let me know if i am missing something & not required from below. It will be a great help if you can give me advice regarding mapping.
Process:
Replicating Equipment from SAP ERP into SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM)
- 1) Activate the download function by activating the implementation of BAdI Creation of Objects by Equipment Download CRM_EQUI_LOAD.
- 2) For the upload, you must also activate adapter objects DNL_EQUIPMENT and DNL_EQUI_HIER in transaction R3AC1.
For the upload, you must also specify the SAP ERP system to which the data is to be sent. You can do so in the administration console (transaction SMOEAC) by creating a subscription for the publication Installed Base (MESG) and then assigning it to the corresponding site.
For the assignment of material to equipment to appear properly following replication, you have to make the following settings:
You have allowed product references for objects. You can do so in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under SAP Product -> Basic Settings -> Allow Product References for Individual Objects.
Define standard settings for replication in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Master Data -> Installed Base -> Replication of Technical Objects from SAP ERP.
Replicating the Equipment Configuration
Have to download the objects EQUIPMENT SAP CRM.
Initial Download Procedure
- 1. Activate the adapter object EQUI_CONFIG in mySAP CRM.
Follow the menu path: Architecture and Technology > Middleware > Data Exchange > Object Management > Business Objects and select the active/inactive box for EQUI_CONFIG. (Transaction Code: R3AC1)
Examine the filter settings for EQUI_CONFIG. For an each source site, set the filters to the same settings as for the object EQUIPMENT.
- 2. Start the initial download process for EQUI_CONFIG.
Follow the menu path: Architecture and Technology > Middleware > Data Exchange > Initial Load > Start. (Transaction Code: R3AS)
Delta Download Procedure
- 1. Activate the object class EQUI_CONFIG.
Follow the menu path: Architecture and Technology > Middleware > Data Exchange > Delta Load from R/3 Back-End.
You may wish to activate the EQUI_CONFIG delta download if you are downloading changes for EQUIPMENT.
If you want R/3 to apply filters during the delta download, use transaction SM30 and maintain view CRMPAROLTP as below:
Parameter name = CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE
Parameter Name 2 = EQUI_CONFIG.
Parameter Name 3 = EQUI_CONFIG
User = CRM
Parameter Value = X
Replication of Functional Location
The download function is activated when you activate the implementation of the Business Add-In CRM_FUNCLOC_LOAD.
For the upload, you must also activate the adapter object DNL_EQUI_HIER in SAP CRM, in transaction R3AC1.
Thank you so much & Looking forward for advice.
