Hi,
I've a requirement to enhance Product master sales area with custom field, and want to make this field as Sales area dependent and display it on the Web UI and should be able to populate the same in the BDOC.
I created a set type attribute and assigned Set type to a hierarchy in COMM_HIERARCHY with view ID as Sales & Distribution. I'm able to see attribute under Sales and distribution tab in Product master. Can someone guide me is this the correct way of extending sales area ? will this field be sales area dependent?
The other option i tried is creating through AET, I was not given any option for choosing the sales area specific BP, and field got extended to CRM_EXT_MAT table instead of Sales area specific tables.
Can any one help me with this?
