As per one of the requirement in my case I have my system setup in such a way that when a CRM BP (either via SAP GUI or WebUI) is created in Contract Partner role it replicates into the R/3 system and also creates two master record in R/3 - (a) Business Partner in Contract Partner role in R/3, (b) Customer record in R/3 with the same BP number - SD Customer (e.g. XD01).
Now it is working fine in every case, i.e. whenever a BP is created in CRM with Contract partner role, immediately a BP is created in R/3 with Contract partner role as well as a customer with the same CRM BP number (number range configured in this way).
But it looks strange in cases when a BP is first created in CRM with any role (Contact Person, Prospect, Business partner general etc.) other than Contract Partner role and later when these BPs are converted into Contract partner role (opening the BP in CRM and selecting contract partner role and then saving them) then the BP with contract partner role in getting created in R/3 but the SD customer is NOT getting created.
Hence in every scenario where a BP is first created with any non contract partner role and then converted to contract partner role in CRM it is creating BP will all required roles in R/3 but not creating the SD customer record in KNA1 table.
Any idea ?
